wheres Jill ?

it wasnt our virgin experience dining at Mad Jack . we came back after 2 years and that was after thinking real hard where to had our lunch this time ( always had trouble of getting the idea on where to eat ) . we even googled for the halal places to eat . terrible wasnt it ?

 but it was all worth it because that tallest burger Mr had , made him absolutely full even after 8pm. No dinner . we love the patties as it was ( i suppose handmade ?) awesomely tender and the meat was the unusual one that normal fast food would have taste . hmmm better than 49-ers swensens beef burger . it was like 1cm thick and rounded-ly big with cheese melting on top .

had my grilled chicken with black pepper sauce , complete with fries and apple in vinegar . i would prefer the sauce to be slightly thicker though . nevertheless , i enjoyed as much .

 I wouldnt recommend tiramadsu to anyone for dessert simply because it was just filled with too much cream . Unless you are one fan of creams n mousse , this might delight you .

i must say , it was a better experience with Mad the Jack compared to my first one . definitely coming back again with a whole new different set to order . Mr pulak dah sibok planning to visit Jack for his birthday lunch with colleagues .

all along was just plainly apparels , shoes , cosmetics and occasionally bags when it comes to my own shop till i drop . but since OUR house will come in no time , i then change my shopping list to something that my mum would shop for . household !

a few days back , i stood by Tangs sale at vivo city and what caught my eyes was cookware from WMF . i remembered mum swears by this brand and got granny a set too , therefore i just thought if i should also follow her . owning WMF .

big boy's getting wiser

i didnt have anything for him last year . nothing at all , not even a birthday cake . this wife hor , very bad ar . but i am very blessed that he had breathed till this far and hoping for many years ahead for he deserved to be .

so this 2010 , i had planned . something going to be a big surprise for him because he again deserved this , big time surprise . really BIG !!

lets not say it here because if you know , then it wont be a surprise for you either .

little teddy .

you might not have heard of this french label designer eco bags but its been selling like hotcakes in France and asian , Hong Kong ,over 1 million bears sold . Its the in-trend now where you can ( not just can but YOU SHOULD ! ) stop carrying those ugly plastic bags and hold onto recycled bags for your groceries and other shopping agenda .

the only difference this made apart from those recycled bags is that this is so fashion ! imagine carrying a teddy bear which was supposed to be an extra bag ;) how cool ?

and i am talking about PERIGOT , the brand . brandly new in Singapore , grab it now and be one of the few Singaporeans to own this adorable and cute teddies .

alhamdulillah we finally reached the day where every muslim celebrated hari raya haji and unfortunately , god bless me .. i have to be on my guard at work . yet again . the mix feelings of petulance and discontented was all over me but being a responsible and pretty understanding employee , i ...hmmmm well do i have a choice ?

this year , we planned to get our food catered . our first food catering from Nadz's Kitchen .

its a pleasant experience , definitely look forward to a much more 'dapor tak berasap' for such occasions .

the thing that we always went out of mind

what else could it be if not for thinking of what to eat , and most of the time was for dinner . also the reason why both of us kept growing . late night dinner , close to supper . tsk tsk tsk ...

recently , i was having a short conversation with my girlfriend and i thought lets not burden our brains of thinking (again ) where to fill our tum tum and asked for her suggestion . since we are at lavender , she suggested to go Beach Rd ( the usual normal place when people go lavender ) . nope for us . it was only until how she enthusiastically describe how nice was the porridge she ate with her hubby . i dont really fancy porridge but because i trust her taste , we went for it .

located at 943 serangoon road singapore 328129 , this ADAM'S CORNER SEAFOOD RESTAURANT's taiwan porridge was really to die for !! ive never tasted such appetizing porridge like this because all i ever saw was one thats definitely not halal . forget about the lame bubur lambuk , bubur masjid and try this . for a $5.50 , i really think its worth all the money .

complete with kangkong , century egg , telor asin , sambal ikan bilis and that chilli kicap ....fuuuyoooh ... power la dey !!!!
see that big bowl of porridge ? both of us couldnt finish it . so its definitely worth every cents .

lets go bronze !

i got myself a bronzer lately . my only bronzer . the virgin one . as recommended by Wiwit , i popped over at body shop to take a look and found myself getting one .

what exactly is a bronzer ?

A bronzer is a powder or liquid cosmetic for your face. It usually gives your face a natural and clean "glow", without the harmful damage of tanning ofthe sun, if you feel that you are too fair skinned. Bronzer is not like a tanning lotion though, because it does not leave a permanent residue, on your face, and can be easily washed off along with other makeup.

and according to my friend whose a beauty adviser for Estee Lauder , you can apply bronzer all over the face for a sunglow effect or can also use to contour your face , also a replacement for your pink / peachy blusher on your cheeks . among her favourites was Estee Lauder , Body Shop and Bourjois .

its a special edition bronzer from Body Shop . I have personally tried and i like it a lot . its also nice on your tanned skin too ! amazingly , it can also be used as a shadow colour on your lids . one palette with so many ways of application !
